Holy crap on a stick!  A quick perusal of the entertainment news sites (not that we need any site other than IoM) shows not one, not two, but three damn remakes set to be made!  And one will be made twice!

• Two versions of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, one with Forest Whitaker and 50 Cent, and another with Keanu Reeves.  Both are set to film this year.  The Keanu Reeves project, titled Jekyll, I’m thinking might actually be a remake of the BBC show.  And neither of these are the Guillermo Del Toro Jekyll and Hyde.
• Cliffhanger!  Yes, the Sylvester Stallone movie is due for a reboot, and producer Neil Moritz (Fast & Furious) stated “Just as they rebooted ‘Star Trek,’ we’re going to do the same with ‘Cliffhanger,” which is pretty funny, because one is a forty-three year old franchise, and the other is a Renny Harlin movie.  Moritz is also producing the Escape from New York remake.
• Fright Night! They scrapped the original idea for the remake, which sounded a lot like Funhouse, but this remake is coming by way of Dreamworks Pictures.
