I’ve been dying for Darksiders, the upcoming video game from Vigil Games, featuring designs and creative direction from Joe Madureira, who never finished Battle Chasers and who’s been sorely missed from comics work for years now (working on video games, such as this).  I’ve been a huge fan of Joe Mad since his Marvel days, and seeing a video game with his designs is just awesome.

In the game, you take control of War – yes, that War, from the Four Horseman fame!  The apocalypse just happened, and the world;s been destroyed, but it all ahppened WAY ahead of time.  War has to find out who was behind this, and gets caught up in a battle between angels and demons, and must find out where the other horsemen are.

Darksiders is due out January, 2010.  Pre-order it from Gamestop to get an exclusive in-game weapon, and a 100-page book that features art from the game, and a prequel comic from Joe Mad!
