UPPER MARLBORO, MD — November 14, 2017 — Six Flags America, The Nation’s Capital of Thrills, announced Santa’s Tracker has a new permanent destination – Holiday in the Park®. Millions of glittering lights, dazzling holiday entertainment, delicious seasonal treats, Santa’s Village in the North Pole and thrilling coasters and family rides will magically transform the theme park into a winter wonderland of the season’s brightest thrills.

“Holiday in the Park is a magical, immersive experience that is quickly becoming a favorite holiday tradition for families in the DMV,” said Park President Rick Howarth. “We’ve created a winter spectacular that is uniquely Six Flags with all the sights, sounds and scents of this special time of year.”

The majesty of the holiday season comes alive with brilliantly lit displays and towering trees blanketing the park while scents of the season fill the air. Kids and families can also join Santa in his workshop for fun photos, roast s’mores to perfection over wood burning firepits or watch any of these four delightful and interactive new shows:

Christmas Crashers – Stunt Show – Scrooge Industries wants to take over the North Pole and turn it into a theme park!

Have Yourself A Looney Tunes Christmas – Kids will love this interactive song and dance feature with popular costumed characters.

Rockin’ the North Pole – A cast of 8 performers deliver high energy singing and dancing to all-time favorite Christmas tunes with lots of whistles, bells and props.

Let it Snow – Four costumed friends, a Snowman, Reindeer, Nutcracker and Gingerbread Man experience the magic of the holidays and a wish that comes true.

And also returning to the Grand Theater, the much-loved Home for the Holidays.

In the spirit of the season, each day at Circle Stage at 5:00 p.m., join Santa in a countdown to lighting a 27-foot tall tree that includes song and dance, a Looney Tunes character meet-and-greet and SNOW, no matter weather!

Guests will also enjoy their favorite thrilling roller coasters, rides and attractions including   Flying Carousel, Voo Doo Drop, Cyclone, Carousel and more. Children can experience pint-sized thrills in Looney Tunes Movie Town while coaster fans can challenge world-class rides like Wild One, ROAR, Mind Eraser, Apocalypse and Ragin Cajun, weather permitting.
