Prison Break: Season 4 (The Final Season)
I’m so behind on Prison Break (I haven’t watched an episode since the beginning of Season 3), but the first two seasons really were some great TV.  I know the show got worse and more ridiculous as it went on, but if you want to see how it wraps up, this is where to go.  Lincoln and Michael take on a government conspiracy in this season (the same conspiracy that put Lincoln in jail to begin with).  Kind of doubt this has anything to do with the true story that inspired the series, but at least we get an actual end to the storyline.

The comics you should buy this week!

Werewolves on the Moon versus Vampires #1
Werewolves on the Moon Versus Vampires #1

Werewolves on the Moon Versus Vampires #1 (Dark Horse Comics)
No real clue what this is about, but look at the title!  From Dark Horse’s official site, “Through all of history, on the night of the full moon, the bloodcurdling cries of werewolves have pierced the night sky. For centuries, werewolves have had to content themselves with shortened forays of feral change as dictated by the source of their power — the moon! But all that is about to change as three werewolf friends — Ted, Jeff, and Stan, leave Earth and travel to the lunar surface in a quest to become kings of the moon! Unfortunately, Moon Patrol captain Maggie Pilgrim has other plans . . . as does the hive of vampires living on the dark side!”  Totally spells WIN to me!

Batman and Robin #1
Batman and Robin #1

BATMAN AND ROBIN #1 (DC Comics)
The beginning of the Morrison/Quitely run on the title, Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne take over the mantles of Batman and Robin.  Very curious about this series, despite being the only person in the world who didn’t like All Star Superman.

Green Lantern Corps: Sins of the Star Sapphire
Green Lantern Corps: Sins of the Star Sapphire

GREEN LANTERN CORPS SINS OF THE STAR SAPPHIRE (DC Comics)
Read all about the Star Sapphires here, and check this excellent storyline out before the Blackest Night!

Chew #1
Chew #1

CHEW #1 (Image Comics)
I tell you…comics are where it’s at.  You get interesting stuff like Chew that reminds you that original ideas are out there!  From the official site, “Tony Chu is a cop with a secret. A weird secret. Tony Chu is Cibopathic, which means he gets psychic impressions from whatever he eats. It also means he’s a hell of a detective, as long as he doesn’t mind nibbling on the corpse of a murder victim to figure out whodunit, and why. It’s a dirty job, and Tony has to eat terrible things in the name of justice. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the government has figured out Tony Chu’s secret. They have plans for him… whether he likes it or not.”  From John Layman, who wrote Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness, with some sweet art by Rob Guillory.

The continuing adventures of Flash Gordon from Ardden Entertainment – one of the best books on the market!  Great art and writing, with exciting action and lots of fun!
