The French comic book site Superpouvoir has reported that Spider-Man’s clone, Ben Reilly, is returning later this year!

Superpouvoir is the only place that’s had this announcement, but the art seems legitimate.  What’s interesting is that it doesn’t sound so much like they’re reintroducing Reilly to the actual Spidey universe, but to a non-continuity mini-series that sounds a bit like X-Men Forever, more of a “what could have been” kind of series.

I can’t lie…I didn’t hate the Clone Saga.  I actually wish Marvel would collect an omnibus of the saga so that I could either revisit it and remember how much I liked it, or see why everyone else hated it.  Is there really a market out there for an “alternate” clone saga mini series?
