According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of my favorite video games of all time, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, is set to be made into a feature film, courtesy of Columbia Pictures.  Kyle Ward (Deal With The Devil, Kane & Lynch – neither of which has been released) has been given the super task of adapting the tale for the big screen, with producing chores done by Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner.

Tell you the truth, I’m shocked it’s taken this long for this to happen.  Uncharted was a pretty sizable hit for the Ps3, and it pretty much begged for a movie to be made.  I’m hoping Ward’s he right guy for the job.  If not, give me a buzz Columbia!
