Given that Marvel has started releasing individual images of each Avengers team member, I’d venture to say that the previously released Heroic Age teaser may not be the team after all.

Today, Marvel has annouced that the first official member of the new Avengers team is none other than CAPTAIN AMERICA!  Not only is it Cap, it’s actually Bucky Cap, which I guess officially answers the question of who will wield the shield.

Also officially announced is the artist on the new Avengers title – none other than John Romita, Jr.!  I am officially excited for this title!
