Dom DeLuise always made me laugh.

He was a welcome figure in many comedies of the seventies and eighties.  Often associated with Burt Reynolds, he appeared as Captain Chaos in Cannon Ball Run and in many other Reynolds films.

According to reports coming from TMZ.com, DeLuise passed away last night.  He was recently hospitalized for kidney failure and respiratory problems.  He was 75.

I enjoyed him in many films: The End, History of the World, Part 1, and Johnny Dangerously just to name a few.

I sure am gonna miss this guy.
