You know, sometimes you just can’t make this stuff up. Courtesy of those awesome guys at Dread Central, we now know that Ti West, the very talented director of The Roost and Cabin Fever 2 (still unreleased), has just been tapped to direct the direct the follow up to The Haunting in Connecticut (check our review here), aptly titled The Haunting in Georgia (though I was hoping for Another Haunting in Connecticut). Filming should start this September in Canada, actually, so they’re not wasting any time in getting this one moving.
“The film is based on the true story. Once moved into their modest home situated on what was once an Old South plantation, a young couple grows concerned when their daughter begins encountering mysterious strangers that no one else can see. Their fear is heightened when they themselves become witness to terrifying phenomena in and around the house, giving clues to unlock a chilling mystery that has remained a closely-guarded secret for generations.”
