What’s your favorite holiday of the year?

If you said Christmas, you’re wrong.  Christmas is lame!  We here at IoM KNOW what your favorite holiday is, and it’s most certainly Pauloween or, as it’s more commonly known, Halloween!

October 31st is a pretty big deal ‘round these parts, where we already indulge in the creepiness on a weekly basis, but when the leaves turn orange the temperature drops below 70, that chill in the air isn’t just the weather – it’s the start of a magical month that culminates in a holiday in which children wears masks in order to blend in with the undead walking our streets.

We’ve got some pretty big plans coming up this Pauloween, including an in-depth look and review of this year’s Universal Studios Orlando: Halloween Horror Nights.  And before you start saying it’s too early to start talking about Halloween, let me just refer you to my friend Rot.

See that graphic above?  That’s just one of hundreds of creations that he’s put together over the years.  This man knows how to do Halloween right!  Check out more of my thoughts and more of his awesome creations after the jump!

www.pumpkinrot.com is the home of Rot’s many creations – where you can look at all of the many scarecrows and hideous monsters that he has put together over the years.  The man is without a doubt one of the most talented Halloweensmith’s out there (yeah, I invented that word) and, if you’re a Pauloween fan like myself, you should definitely check out his site not only for inspiration, but to purchase some of the goodies he has for sale!

My personal favorites?  I love the new Pumpkin Sentinels, as well as the Hollowmen from last year – those are so freakin’ awesome, I’m almost speechless!
