Tons of fantastic news from the Diamond Reatiler Summit, thanks to CBR:

• Marvel will have special comics hitting comic shops on New Year’s Eve eve , including a free Siege one-shot and a free calendar that comes with an Avengers ID Card featuring art by Marko Djurdjevic.  “Slides shown for Siege included a showdown where Wolverine chokes Daken while ripping his mask off, Spider-Man holding a bloody Green Goblin mask in anguish and some kind of rebirth for Iron Man and his armor.”

• “Fall of the Hulk,” in the first quarter of next year, will lead into “World War Hulks” in the spring.

• Jeph Loeb will write two books for the Ultimate Comics imprint–“New Ultimates” with Frank Cho and “Ultimate X” with Art Adams!

• The X-Men have a crossover called “Doomwar,” a limited series featuring the Fantastic Four, Deadpool and two Black Panthers. Sounds like Jean Grey will come back to life (again) in the crossover entitled, “X-Men: Second Coming.”

• Deadpool will get a mini-series called “The Deadpool Corps,” featuring Lady Deadpool, Kid Deadpool, Dogpool and Headpool (zombie Deadpool). They even have their own oath!

• Avengers: Children’s Crusade by Allan Heinberg and Jimmy Cheung is on the way might finally be that Young Avengers we’ve been asking for.
