Heh…that sounded worse than intended.  What I really meant to say is that, as announced today on DC’s The Source Blog, John Cassaday will be the new cover artist for Superman when J. Michael Straczynski takes over writing chores with issue #701.  Wanna see the first cover?

The cast of characters in the giant El symbol appear to be just random people – if they had actually been the supporting cast, I would so buy a poster of this.  As it is, it sure it pretty, don’t you think?

Even though I’m trying to cut back on my pull list, this looks like a good opportunity to jump back in…maybe I’ll do dip my toe in to see if the water’s good.
