Man…how cool would it be to walk into a comic shop, with Hollywood-level money, and pick up all the crap you wanted for “research?”  Robert Downey Jr visited a Hollywood comic shop and apparently picked up some Avengers and Iron Man comics this past Wednesday (he must not have known that new comic book day was on Thursday this week).

Sadly, had he listened to Funnybooks, or contacted us for consulting first, we would have told him not to buy any of the stuff that he bought.  Seriously, looking at the pictures…Iron Manual?  Seriously?  But, it’s still pretty cool to imagine seeing a big name star like Downey in your LCS, isn’t it?  I’ve never seen anyone dressed this dapper at my comic shops!
