I love The Crow…the original one, mind you.  With Brandon Lee.  But doesn’t everybody love that movie?  I mean, it’s Brandon Lee’s last movie, and the perfect example of a dark hero movie.  I mean, sure it’s a little dated, but damn…awesome movie, awesome soundtrack.  Just a heckuva good film (can you tell I’m in the mood to re-watch it now?).

Well…they’re rebooting the Crow franchise.  Probably a good idea since 3 out of the 4 Crow films (not including the TV series) kind of suck.  I mean, that last one with Edward Furlong and David Boreanaz?  Wow…that one was awful.  It looked like it was filmed in someone’s backyard.

Well…luckily, The Crow reboot won’t look that way, because it’s directed by 28 Weeks Later director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (says SuperheroHype).  I absolutely love 28 Weeks Later.  In fact, truth be told, I like it more than the original.  It’s an intense horror movie, and I really hope Fresnadillo brings the same intensity to a Crow flick.  Now we get to argue over who should get the title role….
