Welcome to day 4 of the Showcase!  Continuing our conversation with this week’s IoM Artist Showcase illustrator Mike Henderson, as we delve into the scary stuff….

IoM: I know it wasn’t your project specifically, but what happened to all the art you did for the Cinemaniac Kickstarter?

MH: I still have it all. Ben Fisher (who put the whole thing together) is an old friend of mine and he’d kill me if I got rid of it.

IoM: Noticing you lean towards horror – what about that genre interests you?

MH: If I’m honest, I don’t naturally lean towards horror at all. It’s what has fallen in my lap at certain times, but I have the most fun doing sci-fi, fantasy and superhero stuff. Whatever I work on next, will fall somewhere in there.
