Story Dan Jolley & Shawn DeLoache

Published by Dark Horse Books
The story starts with Pete a high school kid that has moved to a new town. New town means new school and making friends all over. Pete meets Horst and Laura who are in a Live Action Role Play (LARP) club. He also makes friends with the popular kids that make fun of the nerdy ones. He is torn between what he is at heart and what he has never been. It’s got drama, comedy, action and adventure.
This book reminds me so much of my high school days and being that kid that liked comics, Star Wars and was always drawing superheroes.
This will bring you back to a simpler time in your life when all that mattered was what went on at school.
This book has Eisner written all over it. Jolley and DeLoache deliver a well paced story that leaves you wanting more. Shoop creates memorable characters in a crisp black and gray style. His art is classy, fun and bold.
I highly recommend this book. Comic quality at its finest.
