The story opens with HellBoy fighting the monster that Wilhelm has become. As quickly as it began its over. Hellboy’s medicine has worn off , but the Dr. agrees to help him. The Dr. must take him to the Erinyes it is his only hope of surviving. We get to see flashbacks of Hellboys life as he tells the Dr. his story. Hellboy must be judged by the Erinyes in order to be healed and save his soul.
