Alex Winter, who you thought disappearred off the face of the planet, but who’s actually been directing Ben 10 movies for Cartoon Network, has been signed to direct a remake of The Gate! Remember the gate?  That film that f*cked you up as a kid because Stephen Dorff was a kid who unlocked the gates of Hell in his backyard by playing records backwards, then grew an eye in his hand and stabbed it with a broken piece of glass?  Love that movie!

The remake is currently in pre-production, and is set for release sometime next year!
