I think naming a wooden roller coaster Terminator: Salvation, The Ride is a bit odd, but Six Flags Magic Mountain (in Valencia, CA) did just that.  I’m not entirely sure if it was once a different roller coaster, or if it’s entirely new, but it does have a little bit of technology to it – audio speakers and effects on the trains.  Why a wooden roller coaster?  Well, according to the “story” of the ride, this is an old abandoned machine that still works and can be used to escape from the Terminators out to…well, terminate you.
