Yes, that Lobo, ya bastiches!  Variety has reported that Guy Ritchie, director of Snatch and the upcoming Sherlock Holmes, has signed on to direct a movie about our favorite interstellar bounty hunter, LOBO!

Apparently, they’re gearing for a PG-13 rating (boo), but I’m excited about the prospect of a Ritchie-directed Lobo film.  If anyone can do the irreverent tone that’s deserving of Lobo, it’s Ritchie.  Of course, the film involves Lobo coming to Earth and teaming up with a teenage Earth girl, which I’m not too happy about. 

No word on casting just yet, but I’m just gonna throw this out there…Jason Statham?  Makes sense to me!  Who do you guys think could play the Main Man?
