And we, as viewers, may be reaching the end of our patience. I love Mel, I really do. Even crazy Mel was enjoyable, if disturbing. But damn, Taken Edge of Darkness may be pretty to look at (thanks to direction from Martin Campbell), but my God that dialogue is horrible!
- “I’m the guy with nothin’ to lose.”
- “You better decide if you’re the guy on the cross … or the one bangin’ in the nails.”
- “Fasten your seatbelt.”
Sorry guys … cheesy one-liners are so 90’s.
I worry that people will assume this film will not do well because of Mel’s history, but really…it’s probably because it looks kinda crappy. But, if you’re still interested, you can check it out Jan 29th!
