According to this article on Ain’t It Cool News, Jackie Earle Haley is the main contender for the role of Sinestro in the upcoming Green Lantern movie with Ryan Reynolds.

Man, this guy really sprung up out of nowhere, didn’t he?  Now he’s being considered for a role in almost every major film coming out.  Do I think he would be good for Sinestro?  Absolutely!  Though, I have to admit, I’ve not seen Haley in a role quite as “classy” as I always imagined Sinestro to be.  I’ve always thought of him as a little higher class, a little more regal in his mannerisms.

Still, Haley has proven himself a more than capable actor and, right now, off the top of my head, I can’t think of anyone better for the role.  Can you?  Talkback below!
