After securing my badge, I joined up with a whole bunch of folks for lunch. A.David Pinilla and both of his wives (His man-bride Luke Meyer and David’s lady wife as well), Rich, James, Jake, and the much hated Holmberg. It was a bit loud for much conversation, but we did manage to coordinate some […]
Like an idiot, I didn’t get my registration in on time. Thus I am in the line for on-site registration. Line seems to Ben moving well, but word is that it’s a 2 hour wait. Here’s hoping I don’t get too sunburned.
I woke at five o’clock this morning in the hopes that I’d be able to catch an earlier flight. I’m booked on a one o’clock flight that would get me to Indy around four. While my work schedule required that undesirable booking at first, I was later able to manipulate the calendar in my favor. […]
You know, it’s almost a religious experience nowadays to walk into a comic book store and, up on the shelves, see Amazing Spider- Man #1, Amazing Fantasy #15, and Incredible Hulk #1. But that’s exactly what happened to me this morning when I walked into Heroes and Villains Comics in Hampton, VA. See, Heroes and […]

According to an Orlando jury, Minnie Mouse was groped by a 60-year-old visitor to Disney World. So. Many. Jokes. But in all seriousness, doesn’t Minnie Mouse put a certain vibe out there? That coy look? The twirling of the skirts? Flash of undergarment? The f–k me pumps? Anybody else getting “dirty whore” here?
Fan favorite zombie comic series The Walking Dead is on its way to series television. According to Variety, cable channel AMC is inches away from sealing the deal with Shawshank Redemption director Frank Darabont to bring the show to its network. Holy crap! Y’know, I think this would make a great TV series. The Walking […]
I know when I think of the beautiful town of Silent Hill, I start trying to book packages to visit the historic town. The air, filled with ash and soot, and the streets, cracked and worn and filled with peril. Not to mention the faceless nurses, with their scalpels and murderous tendencies. Who wouldn’t want […]
