Battle for the Cowl: Week 2!

F*ck me with a batarang, a lot happened in Battle for the Cowl #1. Battle for the Cowl #1 is totally worth the price of admission, if only because SO much happens – I’ll give my full review after the SPOILER filled summary, after the jump!

Battle for the Cowl: Seriously?

Is DC just not trying anymore?  Between this and the Blackest Night ad they released, it seems like they really aren’t trying to keep things under wraps anymore.  Guess we know who Batman will be. Or is it just a way to throw us off?  I mean, Nightwing is on the cover for issue #1.  […]

Someone at DC Direct Probably got fired.

So…all the hints they’ve been giving about Blackest Night, they’ve still managed to avoid giving any MAJOR spoilers away.  Well, until DC Direct put out an ad about the Blackest Night action figures coming out this September.  This is old news, but it doesn’t seem like everyone has seen this. Battle for the Cowl: Batman and the Outsiders!

Yeah, I know. I’m just as surprised as you are.  I count no less than SIX attempts to reboot The Outsiders by DC Comics.  It’s an odd animal.  Essentially, The  Outsiders is made up of superheroes who do not “fit” in with the mainstream superhero community They were founded by Batman during one of his […]

Battle for the Cowl: The Contenders – Tim Drake

Moreso than anybody else, Tim Drake deserves to be Batman. Tim Drake first showed up in Batman #436, in 1989. While watching Batman and Robin battle against the Penguin, he realizes that the moves are those that only Dick Grayson could accomplish, since he had seen the same move when watching the Flying Graysons. At […]
