The good folks at DVDActive had news this week of the upcoming release of some awesome meaty Star Trek goodness!

Yes folks, our beloved Trek is coming to Blu-Ray!  Don’t have a Blu-Ray Player?  Buy a Ps3!  Ha…just kidding.  We all know the Ps3 sucks.

Anyway, there are a couple of goodies coming out, not just the beauty you see on your right.  There’s the Motion Picture Collection, which collects all of the original crew’s flicks (1-6), there’s a trilogy collection that has parts 2-4, and there’s the first season of the Original Series (if you bought the HD-DVD edition, you know how good they look)!

I have all of them on DVD already…but dang.  Those are some pretty boxes.
