Let me die. Please.

Bloody hell.

Bloody f*ckin’ hell.

Halloween 3D, the third film in the franchise that has tried everything it can to kill my love for the franchise, is in development for release in 2010, according to the L.A. Times.

I guess it’s primarily because The Final Destination actually beat Halloween II at the theaters this weekend – typically theaters with at least one 3-D screen earn 3.25 times as much as those that show the movie in 2-D only.  Sounds like Zombie won’t be returning for the threequel (thank goodness for small blessings) and the proposed director has a “different take” on the franchise.  Let’s hope it involves the film being scary.  And how the hell they’re going to follow up the ending of part II is going to be interesting.
