SlashFilm recently posted a review of the infamous recent test screening of G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. Click the link for the full review, but here’s the jist: As far as Sommers’ being shit-canned, I wouldn’t be surprised after seeing the rough cut; it’s not exactly on par with the Paramount/summer blockbuster standard established with […]

Shocking absolutely no one, Marvel revealed today to the NY Daily News that Steve Rogers, Captain America, is coming back from the dead. “The original Captain America is finally coming back,” Marvel Comics editor in chief Joe Quesada told the Daily News. “We’ve been patiently planning for this moment for 21/2 years.” Captain America will […]
I’m not too sure what makes a WWII shooter good, but somehow, I’ve played both amazing and horrible games centered around that conflict. While I’d normally think this is good news, I hear his film Pathfinder, which, honestly, looked kind of like a Conan film, was pretty bad. According […]
This week saw the release of the next two titles in DC’s relaunch of the Batman titles, Red Robin and Batman, with new and exciting creative teams and directions and, most importantly, a new man under the cowl. How did they measure up with last week’s Batman and Robin #1, from Grant Morrison and Frank […]
