Shocking absolutely no one, Marvel revealed today to the NY Daily News that Steve Rogers, Captain America, is coming back from the dead. “The original Captain America is finally coming back,” Marvel Comics editor in chief Joe Quesada told the Daily News. “We’ve been patiently planning for this moment for 21/2 years.” Captain America will […]
Taking a look at today’s paper, I see that Marvel superhero Tigra (Greer Grant-Nelson) is taking it off for tigers in a PETA initiative opposing alleged cruelty to animals at the Barnum & Bailey Circus now performing in Fort Worth. Naked superheroes is a cause I can support. Bring on the bare Ms. Marvel, Black […]

At the end of that series, the female Bucky from the “Heroes Reborn” World made it to the regular […]
Remember how psyched you were when X-Men #1 by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee came out back in 1991 (sh*t I’m old…that was EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO!!!!), and the art and story were so fantastic? I loved that series until Jim Lee left and, oddly, until recently, I didn’t even know that Chris Claremont left the […]

Free Comic Book Day is a bonafide holiday at my house. It’s on the calendar, plans are made around it, we gather around the Free Comic Book Day tree, and sing Free Comic Book Day carols. It’s a whole thing. One grand tradition that my family shares is looking at all the titles released for […]
