I’m sitting here typing up this story from my Tampa hotel room. I flew into here for a business trip. Had I just flown out a week or two later, I might actually be able to enjoy The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. Sigh…oh well. However, […]
Source: Superhero Hype! I hesitated to post anything about this because, really…it’s just the friggin’ Green Lantern symbol. It really isn’t all that special, in the grand scheme of things. I’m excited that we’re a year away from a GL movie, and I really can’t wait to see it. What made me decide to post […]
Man…how cool would it be to walk into a comic shop, with Hollywood-level money, and pick up all the crap you wanted for “research?” Robert Downey Jr visited a Hollywood comic shop and apparently picked up some Avengers and Iron Man comics this past Wednesday (he must not have known that new comic book day […]
This news has kind of been all over the web this week, but I’m really just kind of formulating my thoughts on it. I was excited a couple of years ago (2003, I think) when I heard that they were doing a new incarnation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, closer in line to the black […]

We have already seen the production still to the left so there is really nothing new here other than a glimpse at Mjolnir. What is interesting is comparing the concept art to […]
I told you a little while back about the new band, How to Destroy Angels, featuring Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) and his wife, Mariqueen Maandig. Well, the band has released a new, 6-track EP at their official site. The best part? It’s absolutely free. There are also other, less free, options available, including t-shirt […]
It seems that designs for the costume to be using in the new Captain America movie have begun leaking online. A special thanks to my friend Sari for pointing this out to me. This design has been confirmed by numerous sources, but like all internet rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. Time […]
Your Funnybooks with Aron and Paulie hosts are super-excited about Top Cow’s upcoming Artifacts crossover, which began with a zero issue released on Free Comic Book Day and continues with Artifacts #1 this July! The FCBD issue of Artifacts introduced readers to the 13 Artifacts and mythology of the Top Cow Universe, including The Witchblade […]
I hear a lot of talk that Game Master’s are supposed to be impartial. The image of a judge comes to mind. Someone who sits above personalities and who has no motivation on any side of an issue, no personal stake. The GM’s role, many would say, is to serve the rules, the system. If […]
