Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World!
Damn…it’s like someone watched me live my life and decided to make a movie out of it! Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is due out August 13, 2010!

Ben Folds on Chatroulette
Ben Folds is just a freaking amazing musician. I’ve seen him live twice now and have tickets to see him again in May. One of the things he does is create songs on stage. He’s a very in-the-moment kind of artist. It should be no surprise then that Ben incorporated Chatroulette in a recent show. […]
Return to JURASSIC PARK with IDW!
Man, I love the original Jurassic Park. I’d venture to say it’s one of my favorite movies and one that I don’t get tired of, no matter how many times I see it. Of course, as much as I love the first, I absolutely hate its sequel, The Lost World. But I do enjoy Jurassic […]
Paul W.S. Anderson to direct BUCK ROGERS in 3D!!!
Now most other places are announcing this news with a “worst f*cking news ever” tagline. But, looking at his IMDB page, I see only one film directed by Paul W.S. Anderson that I can say I didn’t enjoy (Soldier). But I loved the hell out of Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, Death Race, and especially Event […]

Solomon Kane's Travelers Tales' for Savage Worlds
Dour Puritans who fight the forces of supernatural evil with the sheer power of their faith and a vicious scowl are not exactly my cup of tea. If anything, I am a much bigger fan of beefy barbarians who battle dark wizards and seduce lusty wenches. So, when given the choice of Robert E. Howard’s […]
The Justice Files: Pain
If you’re familiar with how Nine Inch Nails works then the idea behind Pain should be easy to grasp. Hypocrisy frontman Peter Tägtgren is the sole member of Pain, similar to Trent Reznor and NIN. NIN is also a good comparison for sound, though Pain has a bit heavier metal sound. Pain is somewhere between […]
