Wow. We had forty-seven comments on last week’s blog commentary about my experience in a game at Fear the Con where I attempted to use my character’s Persuasion skill on another player character. It spawned a forum discussion and commentary from the guys at Kicked in the Dicebags (they’re wrong) as well as Happy Jacks […]

Dour Puritans who fight the forces of supernatural evil with the sheer power of their faith and a vicious scowl are not exactly my cup of tea. If anything, I am a much bigger fan of beefy barbarians who battle dark wizards and seduce lusty wenches. So, when given the choice of Robert E. Howard’s […]
If you’re familiar with how Nine Inch Nails works then the idea behind Pain should be easy to grasp. Hypocrisy frontman Peter Tägtgren is the sole member of Pain, similar to Trent Reznor and NIN. As I’ve mentioned before, I LOVE the days of Rob Liefeld’s Extreme Studios – comics like Youngblood, Team Youngblood, Bloodstrike and the rest, which many considered the epitomy of what was wrong in the 90’s, reminds me of days when comics were really a blast. I picked up a ton of Extreme comics recently, reading […]
As I mentioned recently, Deadpool and Dark Wolverine writer Daniel Way attended a free signing as A COMIC SHOP in Winter Park, Florida, and I was lucky enough to spend some time with him, chatting about his Marvel work, and even getting a pretty HUGE news tidbit that I’ve yet to see anywhere else. The […]
