Long story short, The Cottage is a great horror/comedy that fans of films like Shaun of the Dead, Severance, and Evil Dead really need to say. Hell, any horror fans in general will find a lot to enjoy in this film, with its quirky humor, plentiful gore, and fun storyline. Full review after the jump!
…but not for another movie (thank God), for the upcoming video game! Please don’t let this suck, SEGA. This trailer could really go either way. There are some cool moments, but the graphics leave a lot to be desired, as do some of the character animations. Still, I wish SEGA would just go the Dead […]
Thanks to Geekologie, we get this kickass video, which I will not spoil for you! Ha! Great stuff.
The January 2010 solicits from Marvel comics have been released and man, despite saying that there were only four issues of Siege, there suuuuurrreeee seem to be a lot of comics with the Siege banner on them! Now this is a project I can get behind. Doc Savage, The Batman, The Spirit, and all those cool classic, pulp heroes, in a tale written by Brian Azzarello and drawn by Rags Morales? Sign me up! Starting in the Batman/Doc Savage Special, the First Wave universe is set outside of regular DC continuity, in […]
The upcoming Amazing Spider-Man storyline Gauntlet (which begins in ASM #612) looks set to redefine and/or kill off many classic Spider-Man villains. We’ve seen designs before in the Amazing Spider-Man Sketchbook (which we spoke about here), including a costume-less Electro (which kinda contradicts his characterization in New Avengers). Revealed in the Marvel solicits for January […]
Warning: Dark Reign Spoilers ahead (kinda). According to Bleeding Cool, the mastermind (and the mystery secret weapon that Normie Osborn is using to keep his Cabal together) isn’t Mephisto, but in fact another character with the initials MM. Mastermind? Master Mold? Master Man? Mole Man? Am I just not intelligent enough to figure this out? […]
As previously mentioned here, there is heavy speculation that a Geoff Johns/Jim Lee Justice League book will be coming in our future, possibly after DC’s next big event crossover (I’m guessing the whole thing New Krypton is leading up to). What does this mean for the James Robinson JLA? Probably not much. I’m guessing that […]
Sadly, it’s been revealed that the upcoming sequel to 30 Days of Night, Dark Days, will end up as a direct to DVD entry, rather than a theatrical film. I wonder if that’s more budget-driven, or because Melissa George chose not to reprise her role as Stella. Still, thanks to Bloody-Disgusting, we can see that […]
