Falco, Casey, and Cerberus returned to dog form all ventured downstairs to the garage where a number of cars awaited. “I hope you don’t mind,” Falco said, “But I believe I will drive tonight.” Casey laughed at that in spite of — or maybe because of — her growing nervousness. “I think my old truck’s […]
In this week’s extraordinarily disorganized episode of Funnybooks, Paul, Wayne, and Jonathan talk about all manner of mildly interesting, and semi-comic book related, topics. Paul’s alcoholism Why Heroes sucks, but apparently Lost is good Jonathan keeps trying to convince people that Eddie Brock should be Spider-Man, Sentry is a cool character, and that X-Men: Second […]
I felt myself getting a little sad this week, reading issue #4 of Escape from Wonderland, knowing that only two issues were left in the beloved Wonderland series from friend of IoM, Raven Gregory. Marvel just keeps pumping out Heroic Age announcements, more than likely to reveal all the biggest news before solicitations do. I once read in an interview that She Wants Revenge said, “What could be better than having someone want to cry, fuck or get up and dance to your music?” If there is a single phrase that sums up their music it would have to be that one. Music aside their music videos are fantastic. […]
Casey awakened, cradled in the nook of Falco’s arm. He was applying a cool wash cloth to her face. She lifted a shaky hand to her temple, echoes of agony and revelation lingering in her mind, but already she was feeling better. Empowered. She felt knowledge ordering itself in her head… like files in a […]
