I had high hopes for Blood: The Last Vampire. Though I thought the original anime upon which this new live-action film is based is actually a bit overrated, I enjoyed the premise. The storyline, set in an American Air Base located in post-WWII Japan, has a hundreds of years old vampire hunting girl named Saya, […]
Megan Fox may not be the best actress in the world, but there’s no denying that she’s probably the hottest thing in Hollywood right now. Everywhere you look, you see Megan Fox’s big blue eyes on some magazine cover, or some billboard, or on the poster above my bed, Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm […]
Yeah, it’s true. Co-producer and writer for Fringe, Brad Caleb Kane, will be writing a feature-length movie about the View-Master toy. Also behind the film are Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman, who seem to be behind every big budget blockbuster nowadays, don’t they? Kane namedrops films like Goonies and Young Sherlock Holmes, which is probably […]
Matt’s Update: Greg Stechman, who is now co-producer and development executive on the film, seems to have been correct in saying to IoM previously that the movie will film by the end of the year. Stechman says they are closing in picking a director for the new installment in the successful Resident Evil film franchise. […]
I wish I had a direct line with Robert Rodriguez. I’d call him at all hours of the day and night, asking him about his newest projects, and begging him to make me some Sin City Breakfast Tacos (buy the special edition DVD if you don’t know what I’m talking about). Of course, that may […]
Well, the guys who used to be Freddy and Jason. As excited as I am for FearNet’s upcoming FEAR CLINIC web series with Robert Englund and Kane Hodder, can’t help but think I would be pretty excited seeing Jackie Earle Haley and Derek Mears starring together in something. Anywho, back to what’s actually happening. Those […]
So, according to Variety, Tim Minear (Angel, X-Files, Serenity) is currently writing a remake of the original Alien Nation movie for SciFi. Though the article does say this is part of SyFy’s (as it is soon to be called) new push to expand itself, it doesn’t say if this is more a proposal is more […]
Did they really think they were fooling anyone? Wow…two stories about the same thing? Still, the cover art for the upcoming Superman/Batman: Public Enemies movie just begs to have a story written about it. They based the characters on the Ed McGuinness designs, DC owns the rights to all the characters … was it just […]
It seems like a week doesn’t go by where I’m not talking about a remake. I’m too bummed about the idea to write about the remake/reboot of An American Werewolf in London, so instead I’ll focus on a remake of a film I’ve actually NOT seen! I know…shocker. Guy Pearce (Memento) and Bailee Madison (Bridge […]
An official press release from yesterday has revealed the main cast of the upcoming Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and, in a move that will be sure to make fans super happy, they’ve cast Tim Daly (honestly, I kinda got used to George Newbern), Kevin Conroy, and Clancy Brown (YES!) as Superman, Batman, and Lex Luthor, respectively. […]
