…because I am. I realized this recently, and I’m kind of ashamed of it. I LOVE Star Trek, but sometime during Deep Space Nine, my inner fanboy started to retreat into the darkness, replaced by so many other genre distractions. To this day, I’ve not seen the full series of Deep Space Nine, Voyager, or […]
Hey everybody! Just wanted to give you guys an update to my post about Time Warner dropping FEARnet, I actually heard from Matt at 360i, who sent me some very valuable information for anyone interested in Keeping Fear Alive!!!! I know you already posted about FEARnet being dropped by Time Warner and Brighthouse Cable, so […]
So, the other day I was telling you guys about my troubling decision about whether or not I wanted to jump onto two new TV shows, both premiering this past Thursday at the same time, Southland and Harper’s Island. Luckily, both of the Thursday shows I already watch, Supernatural and Smallville, will be ending their […]
Yeah, I know the picture at right isn’t from the TV series Dollhouse, but maybe it should have been. Aron may have warmed up to the series, but I’m still debating. I’m only four episodes in and still trying to catch up, but what makes it difficult is that I’ve seen nothing that makes it […]
Thanks to YaMBA, we have James Cameron’s next masterpiece. Unfortunately, no, it’s not Aquaman starring Vincent Chase and Mandy Moore. It’s Avatar, a sci-fi epic that wishes to teach you a lesson or two while at the same time blowing your mind. Oh, James Cameron, doesn’t the movie going audience just want you to cause […]

I popped on the TV this morning and, for some unknown reason, it was on Nickelodeon. And on Nickelodeon was a tv show called The Madagascar Penguins, featuring, well, the penguins from Madagascar, as well as the bit characters like the crazy lemur, Julien, his second in command Maurice, and Mort, the quiet little lemur […]
So, your work week has sucked, and rather than wait till Friday night to drink yourself silly, you’re probably going out tonight to party like a rock star because, really, it’s not like anyone works on Friday anyway, right? Well, make sure not to drink so much that you pass out before 10 o’clock. See, […]
Sometimes, words fail me. When I see something so awesome that I cannot think of the best way to describe it, my mouth opens, yet no sound escapes. And then, I cry a little bit at the beauty. A Serpentor Mighty Mugg is exactly that kind of beauty. As is a Destro Mighty Mugg. Which […]
So…really? I’m not sure I hate SyFy’s concept designs for the costume in their upcoming The Phantom TV show, but I know I don’t love them. I’ll be the first to admit – I may love the character of the Phantom, but sure, his costume is a little dated, and little…well, dumb. But aren’t all […]
